According to the Future of Jobs Report 2025 by the World Economic Forum, upskilling the workforce is the primary focus in employers’ people strategy by 2030, followed by accelerating the automation of processes and tasks, recruiting staff to meet emerging business needs, and complementing and augmenting the workforce with new technology.

A significant shift is expected in human-performed work tasks, with a 15% decrease from 2025 to 2030. This drop is mainly due to increased automation (82%), alongside improved human-machine collaboration (19%).
